In Chicago, Marcus worked once again with the ever talented Jonny Valiant for CB2 in the Crate & Barrel Studios for the Spring, 17 book just out.
It was exciting to work with many new products new to the season and seen for the first time. We shot the book in many themes including Modern Italian and Californian inspired stories. Many bedrooms and living rooms but also a coffee shop in the mix that used a very exciting 3D herringbone wall.
Marcus worked with creating the sets with set builder and designer Justin Rowe and Art Director Jennifer Moore working with may marble surfaces and metallic detailing. All finishes were created by Alexis Gourguechon including the marble surfboard that features on some of the spreads, Alexis is a master at the faux finish and very talented.
